- 1 (15 oz.) can Margaret Holmes Butter Peas, drained with liquid reserved
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 1/9 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. flour
- Add reserved pea liquid with half-and-half in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Add Margaret Holmes Butter Peas, pepper and paprika.
- Slowly wisk in flour to desired consistency.
- Lower heat to slow simmer - continue stirring frequently to desired temperature.
